Rigid heddle weaving is fun, versatile and affordable. In one-day, you’ll set up the loom, weave and finish a washcloth using multiple colors.
Class looms are provided or use your own rigid heddle loom (pending approval).
Plus there’s a “Rent to Buy” option so you can take the loom home and if interested, buy a loom of your choice.
Take your weaving to the next level and add spice and depth to your handweaving.
From beginner to advanced —these one-day classes, are for students who can warp and weave independently, and can wind their warp at home —ready to weave in class. e
Classes rotate throughout the year with new topics being offered to expand your rigid heddle weaving capabilities.
Meet Heidi Bennett
Heidi believes in the power of the cloth and the traditions that spans cultures and the ages. She loves weaving and teaching how to combine art with function for handwoven goods.
Her Beginner Rigid Heddle classes are at a local Community College. She teaches a wide array of “Beyond the Basics” rigid heddle classes at both local workshops and in her Seattle home studio.
Heidi is an authorized Ashford loom dealer and sells her weavings at local craft fairs, guild sales and on Etsy.com.
